Expert Panels. CSS has participated in expert panels and advisory councils for the National Advisory Council (the precursor to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality), the Institute of Medicine, the National Quality Forum, and CMS's Physician Compare Technical Expert Panel. Office of Personnel Management. As a contractor for the U.S.

Office of Personnel Management (OPM), CSS has been responsible for collecting CAHPS survey response data files from the many plans that participate in the Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) program. We analyze those data for OPM, which then uses the results of our analyses to prepare the Open Season guides that assist employees and retirees to choose a health plan.

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Management. CSS works closely with CMS surveying initiatives, including:

• Medicare CAHPS surveys,
• Fee-for-Service CAHPS surveys (in partnership with Impaq International),
• Medicare disenrollment surveys (in partnership with the RAND Corporation),
• National implementation of Medicare's CAHPS for Accountable Care Organizations (in partnership with the RAND Corporation)
• We have been approved by CMS to conduct the Medicare CAHPS, Medicare Health Outcomes Surveys, and CAHPS for Accountable Care Organizations.
